What do you do when you have a canker sore ON your tongue?

For the past year, I have been getting this annoying sore on the exact same spot on my tongue. I believe it to be a canker sore, because I have researched it online for quite some time. However, although it only lasts a week, it always seems to return once a month. It is very painful and causes me to avoid eating certain foods and tends to make talking a little more difficult. uh I hate those, when had braces I got them all the time. it’s also the same strain of oral thrush. There was this rinse at walgreens that I used, it had a hoky packaging, but it worked so well, it also came with a little spray. I hope you can find it, they went away in days with that stuff!
