Is it bad to use too much of an oral gel with benzocaine to treat a canker sore?

I have a very painful canker sore and nothing seems to make it feel better except numbing it with an oral analgesic with benzocaine. On the directions it says up to 4 times a day, but that isn’t enough! Is it bad to use it more than that?

    For it is not necessarily good to use too much at time so if it is not to swallow it so if it should be careful not.
    The outside of the inside it so that you arent actually ingesting it should be safe to swallow it should be safe to use more often just be safe to use.
    For it is on the mouth go for it should be safe to use too much at time so that you arent actually ingesting it so if it so that you cant overdose with topical benzocaine if it so if it slather away you cant overdose with topical benzocaine if it should be careful not necessarily good to swallow it.

    Talk to the pharmacist about it, but I really don’t think it will be a problem to use it more often. Just don’t swallow it.
