If I have a canker sore is it okay to have oral sex with my girlfriend?

I recently got a canker sore in my mouth, its been a few days and im planning to eat out my girlfriend this weekend. Would the canker sore cause any complications, or put myself and my girlfiend at any risk?
I am positive it is a canker sore and not a cold sore, it is a fairly small white sore on the inside of my mouth along my gum line.

An ulcer in the mouth and is caused by herpes simplex1 and not cold sore canker sore is very much transmittable cold sore and not.

If it is simply a canker sore, you have nothing to worry about. They’re just annoying if anything else; they have nothing to do with STDs.
Cold sores are another story.
But canker sores?
