Judy asked:

I smoked a cigarette and didn’t brush my teeth for a whole day; the next day I had this sore. The reason I didn’t brush is because I was recovering from jetlag and was sleeping all day.

Is this why I got this sore?
I was traveling–I had to sleep!!
I don’t get enough H20 in…that’s for sure. I feel dehydrated often. Thanks for the tip.

    Stress causes them, viruses too.

Blistex will help it go away.

    Everyone gets them.

Stop smoking, brush your teeth, stop sleeping all day, these things cause all kinds of diseases

I get cancer sores . I’m 12 and they are usually just spots where I bit myself. What probably caused it was that you jammed your cigarette and maybe burned a little of your lip. Maybe bacteria collected in it or you unknowingly picked at it. Even more likely, it had nothing to do with your cigarette or lack of brushing. You probably just clamped your teeth down on our lip when you were sleeping.
