how to soothe a canker sore?

ok usually i use Zilactin B - which coats the canker sore as well as numbs it. but this time, the sore is on the back of my throat, and right by my gag refelx. i tried the other morning to use it and sat gagging for like 10 minutes. ive been rinsing my mouth with salt water, but i’d have to do it like every 20 minutes. is there any other ways, that you guys know, would kill the pain?

There is this pen like thing that you can find in walmart i get canker sores all the time and this pen thing is like heaven it numbs it with no tasye or sting you will love it sooo much i cant remember wat its called but it will save you from alot of pain good luck.

My lip sometimes and then just let it heal.
My lip sometimes and use abreva but canker sores are talking about would take advil seriously advil and then just let it heal.

By prescription - viscous lidocaine.
Otherwise, Ora-gel on a Q-tip.
