I have what I think is a canker sore in my mouth. It is on the bottom of my mouth, and it is on the outside of my gums. It has been there for probably about 2 weeks now.

I think it is probably a result of me not brushing my teeth as I should, but what should I do to get rid of it? If I just brush my teeth will that make it go away, or are there over the counter medications? How do I get it to go away?

   I agree warm saltwater rinse twice a day. Also get this stuff called KANKA from a local pharmacy.

   warm-salt water rinse i agree and than they have these band-aid looking things at the drug store..
