What is the difference look wise from a Canker Sore to a Cold Sore?

How do I get rid of this canker sore on my gum?

I have had it for over a week and it is not going away. I tried rinsing with Orajel, but it is not going away. What can I do I do about this canker sore?

I want to try to treat it at home first before going to a dentist/doctor.

dental hygienist used something on my canker sore. any ideas what it was?

i recently went in for a cleaning. the dh noticed i had a canker sore and asked if i wanted her to put some medicine on it. it was a black liquid that she dipped a q-tip in. it stung like hell and tasted awful but the sore was gone within a day or so. anyone know what it was and if i can get some over the counter?

I have a really bad canker sore! Any suggestions?

I’ve had a really bad canker sore for about a week. I’ve used Kanka, Anbesol, Canker cover, salt, and this other thing that you drop onto a q-tip and put on the canker sore. Nothing is working, and when I put on the canker cover it just got bigger. Any suggestions on how to get rid of it?

Please help me i have a canker sore?
