Canker Sore Mouth

I believe I have a large canker sore. I went to the doctor because my mouth was swollen and it was on my cheek so that it was extremely painful to talk and eat. She prescribed me a medicine and I am using Anbesol.

I do get canker sores. But this one is a larger almost white hole (for lack of a better word). It seems like a quarter inch diameter. It is painful.

I was wondering whether anyone had suggestions quicken the heal healing process (its been about three days and no change), bring down the swelling, and/or soothe the pain better?
