josh p asked: Here is my own remedy
1- Ok the first step sounds hokey, but I believe you have to be nourish yourself so the first step is to drink alot of water and take a multivitamin.
2- Apply hydrogen peroxide w q-tip to the sore 2-3 times per day letting the sore bubble for 30 seconds then rinsing out.
3- Apply “aphthasol” (prescribed) a few times a day after peroxide.
4- Get plenty of sleep.
I say that this method works and by that I don’t solely mean pain reduction, although that is a benefit, but also shortening the duration of the sore from over a week to just a few days.
BTW I do get chronic canker sores ( aphthous stomatitis)

I think I bit the side of my mouth or sucked on it in my sleep. Now I’ve got a canker sore that is driving me crazy. I vaguely remember getting them when I had braces but that was so long ago, I don’t remember what I did about it. Does anyone have any thoughts? Seems like I used to put baking soda on it but it was painful and I don’t know if that was truly supposed to work or not. Any help would sure be appreciated! Thanks!

I recently got a canker sore in my mouth, its been a few days and im planning to eat out my girlfriend this weekend. Would the canker sore cause any complications, or put myself and my girlfiend at any risk?
I am positive it is a canker sore and not a cold sore, it is a fairly small white sore on the inside of my mouth along my gum line.

Guy_Face_man asked: I have a huge canker sore on the roof of my mouth right where my retainer goes. I can’t wear it without having terrible pain. I haven’t worn my retainer for a week, and it’s really messing up my bite and my teeth. I don’t poke at it with my tongue, but IT ISN’T GOING AWAY.
