This is not to gross anyone out. I had 2 canker sores yesterday i used some stuff to make then not hurt and one went away. when i woke up this morning the one on my bottom lip is bigger and is black or grey in the center. please do not look at these pictures if you can’t handle a stuff like that. What can i do to make it look like I don’t have a fat lip?

Yes, I know about citrus causing it, but I do not eat an excessive amount of citrusy foods. And canker sores are not associated with herpes, those are cold sores. It is a misdiagnosis when people say canker sores are associated with herpes.

I’ve had canker sores all my life and more recently. I know in the past few days I’ve had way too much citrus and today had tomatoes and pizza. I read online now that those are likely causes for canker sores. Usually though when I look in my mouth they are a glazed over white shape. I’ve never seen this redness before. Maybe this is just the beginning.

Please let me know what you think…There’s no other spots or bumps in my mouth. There’s only a slight noticeable thing when I touch it but by no means pain.
