Canker Sore Mouth

I bit my cheek really hard a few days ago and now I have a mouth ulcer (or some people call them canker sores) where I bit it. It is pretty big and painful. I have read up on all the home remedies out there (all the herbs, milk of magnesia, salt water, peroxide, even constipation remedies!) and want to know which ones actually have worked for you. This ulcer is right in the center of my cheek so my top and bottom teeth brush it every time I open my mouth! I need some relief soon! Thanks!

its just really painful no matter what I eat or drink and its been there about 4 days.
when I said its the first canker sore ever, I said that because I have gone 21 years without having one so its just kinda random for one to just pop up out of nowhere.

and how much of a risk would you be at? would it be the same as someone who has genital herpes or whateveR?
and if you got genital herpes, would it be like a one time thing or you would have the STD forever?
