Cure for a canker sore?

I have a canker right at the bottom of my top lip. It’s got my whole top lip swollen, and it hurts whenever I drink. needless to say, I want it gone as soon as possible. I tried putting salt on it (my mom says that helps) but it stings so bad I can’t hold it on for more than like 5 seconds. What could I put on it that could heal it as quick as possible?

Put salt directly on it! It will hurt a little but it will cure it soo fast. ☺

Two things that I have known to work.
Alum
and Mentadent toothpaste will help prevent more breakouts.

try a tea bag….one that has soaked in water and then stay away from anything acidy like tomatos or juice, citric, tea bag will make it feel better too.

I put tooth paston mine it stings really bad when you put it on put once you finish it feels better, it cleans it out.

The perfect thing its called anbesol and it cures it doesnt taste bad at all just rub it too you can find it on chicken with it feels soooooooooo good can even have ketchup on chicken with it.
The canker itll only sting for short sec and it works and then it cures it doesnt taste bad at your local drugstore also hope this helps cankers suck juno.

putting salt ON the canker sore doesn’t help at all! i hate to say this but the only thing that will cure it affectively is to just leave it alone and don’t mess with it (like try all these wacky cures). Also, don’t drink/eat anything with acid on it such as orange juice, oranges, lemons, or soda.
plus if you get more and they’re frequently then change your toothpaste… sometimes the acid or materials in it can ‘hurt’ your mouth and cause canker sores.
